Where a list of elements becomes a description of a life.
They are not gods. The name is traditional and unhelpful — a "god" here is just a label for a relationship between two characters.
Every character in your chart relates to your day master in one of five ways: it matches your element, it feeds you, you feed it, it controls you, or you control it. Each of those five splits depending on whether the polarity matches yours. Five times two is ten.
Two are your own element — allies and competitors. The Peer shares your element and polarity: people standing where you stand. The Rival shares your element with opposite polarity: what takes from you while looking like an equal.
Two are what you produce — output and expression. The Craft is what you make when nobody asked. The Performer is brilliance that refuses to be managed: original, sharp, and reliably in trouble with authority.
Two are what you control — resources. Loose Money is opportunity and windfall, arriving sideways in bursts. Earned Money is the steady wage, the thing built on purpose.
Two are what controls you — pressure and structure. The Pressure is unstructured force: crisis, demand, growth before you were ready. The Duty is the organised version: rank, rules, office, reputation.
And two are what feeds you — support. The Odd Mind is unconventional insight, the knowledge nobody taught you. The Support is mothers, mentors, study, protection.
Elements tell you what a chart is made of. The ten gods tell you what it is like to be the person.
Career, money, authority, creativity, relationships — all of it lives here. When a reading says something specific enough to be startling, it is usually reading this layer.
One instance of a ten god is a feature. Two or three of the same one is a theme, and it will show up in your work and again in who you choose, and you will very likely not recognise it as the same thing the second time.
