How does Saju Garden compare with Four Pillars and BaZi sites?

By

Compare calculation settings, language and reading format before comparing the conclusions in Saju and BaZi reports.

Compare Saju Garden with other Four Pillars or BaZi services by checking the chart, the explanation and the service separately. Similar-looking personality text cannot tell you whether two calculators used the same method. This is a comparison checklist, not a ranking of providers.

Start with the same kind of chart

The Academy of Korean Studies describes Saju as paired characters for birth year, month, day and hour. Joey Yap’s BaZi introduction shows that same four-column family of charts. A Western natal wheel belongs in a different comparison: our Saju and Western astrology guide explains why.

Saju Garden’s free calculator produces a Korean Saju chart and a computed free reading. Its paid products are generated written reports, as described on the about page. A different provider might offer a calculation sheet, software, a recorded reading or a live consultation. Check the current offer instead of assuming the word “reading” guarantees a conversation.

Compare one input at a time

Record the same birth date, recorded local time and birthplace for both tools. Save whether the date is solar or lunar, how uncertain the time is, and any settings each service exposes. Ask about time-zone history, solar-time correction and calendar boundaries when a pillar differs.

Use a table with columns for the input, tool A, tool B and the unresolved question. Compare the characters before comparing their English labels. A translation difference may leave the calculation unchanged.

A small testing protocol

Choose a hypothetical input, label it as such, and record the date you tested it. Keep the first output from each service. Change only one setting for the next comparison, then record which pillars changed. If one tool hides its assumptions, write “not disclosed”; do not fill in the blank from another provider’s documentation.

This checks reproducibility under stated settings. It does not test a promise about relationships or future events.

Evaluate the explanation separately

Jung and Yang’s 2015 study examined Four Pillars classifications and personality questionnaires in 148 adults. Read the original source. The study examined personality classifications, with several null results and weak associations. It did not rank these websites or establish that a longer report predicts life better.

Ask whether you can trace a paragraph to a visible chart feature and whether the author explains uncertainty. Then compare language, delivery, follow-up and current price. The free chart versus paid report guide helps you decide which output you actually need.
