충 · 沖
Two branches sitting directly opposite each other — a collision that forces movement.
The twelve branches sit in a circle, and each has an opposite. When both appear in a chart, or when a year brings one against a branch you already hold, the tradition calls it a clash.
A clash is disruption, not doom. It shakes something loose: moves, breakups, job changes, relocations. Charts that are too settled sometimes need one.
Free, calculated to true solar time, no account needed.
